Enrollment Policies

Collegiate looks for students who will be enriched by our incredible program and who will enrich our school community by contributing their own special talents, abilities, imagination, curiosity, and interpersonal skills.

Collegiate seeks to enroll boys of sound character and educational promise. Much of the strength of Collegiate's inclusive community comes from the diverse backgrounds of its students. A generous financial aid program enables the school to welcome families with various financial resources.

Sibling and Alumni Children Early Decision Policy

Sibling/legacy families qualify for early notification for K–12 admissions. Please call the Office of Admissions and Enrollment to schedule your appointments. Appointments must be completed by the end of November. School reports are due by November 30, 2026. All applicants to the school are evaluated according to the same criteria of individual qualifications and the effort to constitute an interesting, dynamic class.

Non-Entry Grades Policy

Approximately 673 boys are enrolled at Collegiate this year. While we accept applications for non-entry grades, new students are typically admitted to the school in Grades Kindergarten and 9. Families interested in non-entry grades may submit an application, optional photo, applicant’s work sample, and parent copies of the two previous years' school reports. Non-entry grades represent unique entry points and limited openings are available through attrition. We will be in touch if we are able to offer the complete application process. Potential openings may rarely occur after our re-enrollment and new enrollment processes are completed in January, February, and early spring of 2026. Regrettably, we are unable to meet with all families that apply to non-entry grades.
