Apply to Lower School

For application to Kindergarten: Please request your current school to fill out the Collegiate Confidential Report Form For Kindergarten and have them submit it directly to our Admissions Office by January 6, 2025. Schools may also submit the ISAAGNY Confidential School Report if they prefer. The School Report must be received no later than January 6, 2025, in order for your application to be complete.
 
For applicants to non-entry Grades 1-4: Please submit your parent copies of the two previous years' report cards by November 15, 2024. We will activate applications, interview families and conduct child visits only if spaces become available.

We will contact you to schedule both required appointments after an application is on file. We encourage you to submit an application at your earliest convenience.

In-Person Kindergarten Applicant Visit: Applicants are observed and assessed in a small group format by Lower School teachers and members of the Admissions team. On-site child visits with fun, child-friendly activities are scheduled at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and we offer a couple of Saturday options. While you wait for your child, parents/guardians will have the opportunity to “learn” with a teacher and have a hands-on experience of what it is like to be in Kindergarten at Collegiate! Both parents/guardians are not required to attend.

Virtual Parent/Guardian Interview: You will meet with a member of the Admissions or Administration teams via Zoom. The interview is a wonderful opportunity for us to learn more about your child and family. Please come prepared to ask any questions about Collegiate and have a 30 minute virtual conversation about your interest in Collegiate and your hopes and dreams for your child's educational journey. 

Please note: We encourage you to submit an application at your earliest convenience. While applications will be accepted until the November 15 deadline, the required appointments for in-person applicant visits and virtual parent interviews may be subject to an appointment waitlist after the available appointments have been filled.

Optional in-person Parent Tours: Parents/guardians who have submitted applications are invited to join us for an optional group tour. Visits are offered by appointment only. This is a facility tour that will provide you with an opportunity to see how a boy grows up in a K-12 school, under one roof. Please allow approximately one hour for your visit. Please check on your application status to confirm that the application is complete. The file must be completed by January 6, 2025, for the applicant to be considered for admission. We notify families of the admission decision in early February.
