What alumni of the program have said:
"I think CSTI is an amazing program...I think the exposure to the teachers of color who have made teaching a career is amazing. We were surrounded by a diversity of educators who had taken different paths in the profession."
"I feel that this has been a turning point in my career as a teacher. I am so happy to have experienced something so incredible that will remain an influential part of my career in independent schools"
"While attending CSTI, not only did I get to meet another relatively new math teacher, but also new teachers from a number of disciplines and grade levels. The stories, advice, and thoughts we shared were hilarious, serious, insightful, and inspirational. My main expectation for the program was to come out being a better teacher. And I think that in that respect, it was a true success." - Upper school Mathematics teacher, Packard Collegiate
"The topics covered and the professionalism of the CSTI Faculty really made for a great learning experience. Even though I have other teaching experience, I firmly believe that CSTI has prepared me exceedingly well for the challenges that I will face as an independent school teacher." - Director of Diversity, Moravian Academy
