The Collegiate library actively supports the academic areas of the school in both the quality and quantity of its collection and its programs. The library’s mission is to help all students develop information literacy and a love of literature, language, and ideas.

In Lower School every student comes to the library for a 40-minute period once a week. The program encourages and engages Lower School students in reading, listening, and viewing for understanding and enjoyment. Flexible scheduling is used in Middle School and Upper School. The program integrates the use of technology in multiple ways, which include instruction through the use of library Web pages and online databases.

Both librarians teach in all divisions to promote the development of a cohesive library program from Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade.
