At Collegiate School we believe that your yearly tuition charge should include all of the required costs for your child to attend school. Included in the published yearly tuition are lunch, books, and materials (including technology), grade and class trips, yearbook, and a variety of other charges that other schools add on to student bills.
Tuition is due in three installments: 15 percent as a non-refundable enrollment deposit in February, 60 percent in July, and the balance of 25 percent in December. Financial aid grants are proportional reductions in each of these payments. In place of the July and December payments you may choose monthly payments through TuitionPay Monthly Plan from Sallie Mae. This is an interest free payment option that allows you to spread the payments over 8 months with the first payment beginning May 1st. A tuition refund plan is provided to protect parents' financial obligations under the terms of the registration contract. Copies of the brochure describing this plan are available in the Business Office.
Shortly following the beginning of each month you will receive a bill for any outstanding charges on your son's account: tuition balances plus bills for optional items such as certain activities, athletic clothing, lost books, and materials. This bill is due and payable upon receipt. A 2 percent service charge is levied on outstanding balances at the end of each month.
If you have specific questions about your bill, please call Sharon Simon at (212) 812-8590.
